Die Dorfmusikanten

German band Michigan

2013 marks the 45^th anniversary of the band, and founder Eric Neubauer is busier than ever keeping up with the increasing demand for traditional Bavarian/Czech-style music. The band was originally formed in Harper Woods and soon became a crowd favorite at German/Bavarian picnics and festivals throughout Southeast, Michigan, Ohio, Windsor, and Toronto. The group has anywhere from 6-10 pieces and sometimes a singer.

As the chairman of our Church's annual Oktoberfest for 10 years, I only wanted the best music and Eric's band is that and more! He's been with us from the start and will continue being the main attraction at our festival. The tent is overflowing when his band is playing. Whether polkas or waltzes, to even novelty tunes like the Schnitzelbank, Die Dorfmusikanten is the best!
